The 211 helpline phones in Ontario are answered by Information and Referral Specialists at six organizations in Ontario. These organizations are our 211 Regional Service Partners. They are comprised of five non-profits and one municipality. Each Regional Service Partner serves several regions or municipalities (see map). They build relationships with these municipalities and human service organizations in these regions. They participate in polity initiatives to make services increasingly accessible, wordplay the 211 helpline for these areas and work with 211’s local data providers who provide information on local organizations that are included in the 211 database.
